Baba Sri Chand Clinic

This clinic is situated on G.T. Road, very close to the Gandhi Ground. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment outside. The sound of buses, motorcycles, and horns is constant. When there is a cricket match or an event at Gandhi Ground, the whole area gets incredibly crowded, and it becomes hard to find parking near our door. The clinic is a straightforward place where we see people for all sorts of common ailments. We have a small entrance that leads into a waiting area with some wooden benches. The walls have a few basic health posters, but otherwise, it is quite plain. People come in from the G.T. Road traffic, looking for some relief from a cough or a fever. The doctor has a small office in the back where he sees one person at a time. It is a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, without any digital screens or fancy gadgets. We use paper files and hand-written notes for everything. The staff consists of just a couple of people who handle everything from cleaning to helping the patients get organized. It can get quite hot in the summer months, so the ceiling fans are always on the highest setting. It is a simple, no-nonsense clinic that has been part of the local landscape for quite some time now, just doing its part.
