We operate out of Dhirakpur in the Mohali district of Punjab. It’s a busy area and we are usually surrounded by cardboard boxes, rolls of tape, and packing blankets. Most of our work happens out on the road, but this is where we keep our trucks and our supplies. We aren't a big fancy company with a glossy office. Our space is more of a warehouse where we store things and get ready for the next job. We spend our mornings loading up the vehicles and checking our lists. It’s physical work, lifting heavy furniture and making sure everything is wrapped up so it doesn't break. We have a small crew and we’ve been doing this for a long time. We know the roads around Punjab pretty well by now. We don't use any high-tech systems to track things; we just write it all down in our ledgers. It’s a simple business. People call us when they need to move their house or office, and we show up and do the work. It’s tiring work, and we are usually pretty worn out by the end of the day. But it’s what we know how to do. We don't make any big promises, we just try to get the stuff from point A to point B without any major issues. It’s just us doing our part in the community. We often stop for parathas at the roadside dhabas during long hauls.
