Amrit Tour & Travels

We are Amrit Tour & Travels, located at 777 Mahna Singh Road in Amritsar. Our shop is right near Jallianwala Bagh, which is a very famous part of the city. We are also just opposite the Sharma Guest House. Because we are so close to such a big landmark, it gets very crowded with tourists and locals every single day. The office is small and usually filled with the sound of the street outside. We handle tours and travel arrangements, mostly for people visiting the city or headed out to other parts of Punjab. It’s a busy life here. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning that works all the time. It’s more of a traditional local shop. We know the area around Mahna Singh Road like the back of our hands. Often, we are just sitting here checking maps or talking to drivers on their mobile phones. It’s not a polished business, just a few of us doing our daily work. We don't use fancy brochures or have a website that's updated every hour. We just talk to people who come in. Sometimes we have to shout a bit over the traffic noise. Being opposite the guest house is handy because people often just walk across the street to ask us about cabs. It’s a real, grit-and-grime kind of job, and we've been doing it for years right here.
