Alliance Rubber Pvt. Ltd. is located right near the canal off the G.T. Road at Plot No.164 in Focal Point. It’s a pretty busy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day long. Being near the water means it stays a bit cooler in the mornings, but the dust from the main road still manages to get everywhere. We handle a lot of rubber mixing and molding here. The floor stays noisy with the sound of the presses going, but we’ve all gotten used to it. Most of our workers live nearby, so we’re a local bunch who have known each other for a long time. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or office stuff. The priority is usually just getting the orders sorted and packed correctly. When the monsoon hits, we have to be extra careful with the rubber sheets because the humidity messes with things. We’ve had to patch the roof a couple of times last year. The canal nearby is nice to look at during lunch, though it’s not always the cleanest place. We don’t use any fancy software for our inventory, just some big ledgers and a whiteboard. It works for us. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is basically the heart of the shop. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the factory running and making sure the parts are decent enough.
