Akashdeep Hospital

We are set up on Majitha Road, right near the Byepass. Akashdeep Hospital is situated directly opposite the Mai Bhago Poly Technical College. It’s a landmark that most people in the area know. The traffic on Majitha Road can be fast because of the byepass nearby. Our hospital building is a sturdy one. We have a front gate that we keep open during the day. Inside, the atmosphere is usually serious because people are here for their health. We have a reception desk where a couple of us sit to greet people and take their details. The hallways are long and have that bright fluorescent lighting. We have a few different departments for different types of medicine. The nurses are always walking around with their clipboards. We have a small garden area in the back, though it’s mostly just grass and a few bushes that need trimming. Sometimes the students from the college across the street come over if they have a minor injury. We keep a stock of medicines in a locked room. The cleaning crew is around all day because a hospital needs to stay tidy. It’s a big responsibility, and we don’t take it lightly, but we aren't fancy about it. We just do the job that needs doing every day. The clock in the main hall strikes every hour, which helps us keep track of time during long shifts. We always keep a few extra blankets in the cupboard for cold nights.
