Ajay Kite & General Store

We are Ajay Kite & General Store. We have been at Shop 38 for a good while now. It is right by the main bus stand in the New Idh Market area. Dealing with kites is what we are mostly known for, especially when the festival season comes around. People often stop by when they get off the bus to pick up little things they might have forgotten. We keep general household items too. It is a small place and it gets a bit crowded with stock sometimes. It can be quite noisy because of all the buses outside, but we are used to it. We try to keep things people need every day. You might see some boxes piled up near the door. It is just how we run things here in Amritsar. Most of the locals know us just as the kite shop near the stand. We open early most mornings. If you are walking through the market, you will see us easily. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a regular shop where we sell thread, kites, and basic snacks. My family helps out during the busy months. We have seen the market change a lot over the years. Some days are slow, while others are very packed. We just keep the shutters up and wait for our regulars. It is a simple, honest business. Most of our neighbors are friends now.
