Aggarwal Gift House

You can find Aggarwal Gift House on the first floor at 63 Link Road. We are right across from Liberty Market, which is always a hub of activity. Being on the first floor is a bit different because you have to come up the stairs, but it gives us a nice view of the street below. We have been running things here for years, and the shop is packed with all sorts of household gifts, clocks, and decorative pieces. It gets quite lively when Liberty Market is full of shoppers, especially on the weekends. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is priced correctly. Sometimes the boxes from suppliers arrive and we have to lug them up the stairs, which is quite a workout. The space is filled with the sound of the ceiling fans and people talking. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened up on Link Road all those years ago. It is a family-run kind of place, so it feels very personal to us and we know where everything is kept, even in the dark. We do not use any fancy tricks or ads to get people in; they just know we are here and they come up the stairs to see what is new on the shelves. It is a simple life, looking after the shop and talking to the people who walk through our door every day.
