Gupta Plastic House

We are located in Building 433/1-4 over in Katra Jaimal Singh. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets. The lanes are narrow and there’s always someone pushing a cart or carrying a heavy load on their head. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of plastic goods. We have buckets, bins, stools, and everything else you can think of. It’s a bit of a maze inside. I’ve lived around here my whole life and started this place because I knew the market inside and out. My son handles the customers now mostly, while I sit near the entrance. We get a lot of people coming in from the surrounding villages to buy in bulk. It’s a loud place, with everyone haggling and the sounds of the street coming in. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of big fans that move the hot air around. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things out on the sidewalk for a bit. It’s not the most organized shop, but we know exactly where everything is hidden. If you ask for a specific color of basin, we’ll find it eventually. Katra Jaimal Singh is a tough place to work but it’s home. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer to walk in. It’s been our life for twenty years now.
