This Ultra Tech Cement Ltd site is out in Jafarabad, Amreli. We are situated at D-2/1 in the NCHC area. It’s a coastal kind of vibe out here in this part of Gujarat. Most of the people working here are locals from Amreli or the surrounding villages. We know the truck drivers by name because they come through so often. It’s a steady kind of job. We don’t have any fancy signs or big displays. People know we are here because of the big trucks parked along the road. The work is mostly loading and unloading, checking the weight, and signing off on the manifests. It’s honest work and it keeps the local construction going. When the wind blows from the sea, it cools things down a bit, which is the best part of the day for us. We just keep things moving here every day.
