Shri Vallabh Saw Mill

Shri Vallabh Saw Mill is located right in Krishna Nagar, Rajula. We are very close to the bus stand, which makes it easy for people to find us, though it does get quite loud with the buses coming and going all day long. The smell of sawdust is pretty much everywhere here, and it gets in your hair and clothes. It’s been that way for a long time. We have the big saws running for most of the morning and afternoon, which means you have to shout a bit to be heard. It’s a dusty job, and we usually end the day covered in wood shavings. We get all kinds of wood coming in on trucks and going out on smaller carts. The mill is an open sort of place, not a closed-up office with air conditioning. You can see the logs stacked up outside waiting to be cut into planks. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. If someone needs wood cut to a certain size for a project, they just come by and talk to us directly. We’ve seen the bus stand area change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and others closing. But the mill stays pretty much the same day after day. We have a small desk where we keep the logbooks and take payments, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside. We just cut the wood and load it up.
