Royal Foods

We are based out in Kajli Village, right near the post office. Our place is in the Patan Veraval Taluka, and if you’re driving by, you’ll see we are quite close to the HP petrol pump. It’s a rural spot, which suits us just fine for a food business. We deal with local produce and processing things that come from the farms around here. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can keep things clean and cool. We’ve got a small team of local folks who help us out. Most of them have been with us for years. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just prepare the food and send it out to the shops that want it. It’s a simple life. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to mess with the generator, or the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we manage. The smell of whatever we’re processing that day usually hangs around the yard. We aren't trying to be some massive international brand. We just want to make sure the food we put in the packages is good enough for our own families to eat. People around here know us by name, and that’s plenty for what we need. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours during the harvest season, but we like being part of the village life. We just keep our heads down and work.
