You can find Amul Foods right near the railway crossing on Dungar Road in Rajula. Our address is P.B.No-51, and we are situated in the Amreli district of Gujarat. Being near the tracks means we spend a lot of time watching the trains go by while we work. It’s a dusty part of the world, especially when the wind picks up across the plains. We handle food products here, mostly stuff that comes from the local farms around this area. The building isn't anything special, just a practical place to store and process what we need to. We have a lot of local workers who come in from the nearby villages every morning. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy enough with the seasonal rushes. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the railway crossing, which can be a bit of a pain for our deliveries, but we’ve learned to plan around it. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing teams; we just pack up the food and send it where it needs to go. The office is just a couple of rooms where we keep the ledgers and drink tea. It’s a regular part of the Rajula community, and we like being close to the transport links. We just take things one day at a time and keep the business running smoothly for everyone involved.
