New India Scale

If you are looking for New India Scale, we are over in Savarkundla, which everyone knows is the place for scales in Gujarat. We are located on Hothibhai Street, right near Upvan Vadi in the Balmukund Parekhvadi area. Our shop is small and filled with weights, springs, and all sorts of measuring tools. It gets pretty dusty on Hothibhai Street with all the trucks passing by at all hours. We’ve been here in the Amreli district for a long time. People bring us their old scales to get them fixed, or they come looking for something new for their shops or farms. We don't use any high-tech marketing. Most of our customers come because they know our faces or they’ve heard from a neighbor that we do a decent job. The work is very hands-on and requires a lot of patience. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to get a needle to sit exactly right on the mark. We sit on low stools and drink tea while we work on the repairs. It’s a traditional kind of business, the way things used to be before everything went digital. We don't have a website that works right, and we don't really care about being fancy. We just know how scales work and we enjoy the quiet routine of the day. Savarkundla is our home, and we are happy to be part of the local trade here. It is just what we do.
