Netra Chikitsa Trust - Radhika General Hospital

Netra Chikitsa Trust runs the Radhika General Hospital on the nct campus over on Chital Road. We’re located near Yamuna Park in Amreli, Gujarat. It’s a pretty large campus for this area. We’ve been here for a good while, serving the people around Amreli. It’s more than just an eye place; we handle general hospital work too. The buildings are spread out a bit. It’s not a fancy city hospital with glass walls. It’s a practical place built for the needs of the local community. We have doctors and nurses who live right here or nearby. The atmosphere is usually a bit busy, with families coming in from the surrounding villages. We don't use a lot of complex language or corporate speak. We just tell people what’s going on with their health. The campus has some trees and spots to sit, which is nice when it’s hot outside. We’ve been through a lot of changes over the years, adding bits and pieces to the hospital as we needed them. It’s a bit of a patchwork, but it works for us. We’re just here on Chital Road, doing what we can for the folks who walk through our gates. It’s a community effort, really. We don't do much promotion. We just show up and do the work every day. It is a long day usually, but we are used to the pace of things here in Amreli.
