Krishna Ice Cream

You can find Krishna Ice Cream out on Lathi Road. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Bypass Chokdi, just opposite the Punjab Kaman landmark. It’s a spot where a lot of heavy trucks and cars pass by on their way out of the town area. Because of where we are located, we get a lot of people stopping in who are just passing through and really need a quick break from the heat and the road. The area around the bypass is always a bit dusty and very busy with the local traffic. Inside our shop, we try to keep things as cool and comfortable as possible. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy or modern. We have our freezers lined up along the wall and some basic wooden seating for anyone who wants to sit down for a minute before getting back on the road. We don't use much of a sales pitch or any marketing; a cold treat usually speaks for itself when it's a hot, dry day in this part of the country. Most of the time it's just a couple of us working behind the small counter. We’ve seen many different travelers come and go over the years we have been here. Some are regular drivers who pass by every single week, and others are families we only see once. It’s just a simple, honest business. We stay open pretty late into the night for the travelers.
