Khodiyar Bus Service

Khodiyar Bus Service is based in Kunkavav, right near the Main Road. Our actual spot is on Travels Road, which makes sense given what we do. It’s a handy location because most people are passing by there anyway to get to the main parts of town. We have been running things from here for a bit, and it is a straightforward setup. We have the buses and we have the office where people come to talk about their travel plans. Amreli is home to us, and Kunkavav has that small-town feel where news travels fast. If a bus is running late or if there’s a new route, everyone seems to know pretty quickly. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. People just know where we are. The office gets a lot of dust from the road, so we are always sweeping it out, but that’s just part of the job. It’s a lot of work keeping the buses in good shape and making sure everyone knows where to go. We see a lot of different people, from students to older folks going on pilgrimage or visiting relatives. It’s just us doing our bit to help people get from one place to another. We usually have the radio on or just chat with the people waiting around. It is a simple life here on the Main Road, just keeping the buses moving.
