Indian Rayon Industries Limited

Our site is out on the Junagadh-Veraval Road, right there in Veraval, and we share the space with the Aditya Birla Nuvo Limited offices. It’s a large industrial area, so there’s always a lot of dust and the sound of heavy machinery in the background. We’ve been part of the landscape here for many years, and many people from the surrounding villages work in different parts of the plant. The work involves a lot of technical stuff with rayon and chemicals, and the shifts run around the clock. It’s not the kind of place that looks pretty from the outside, with all the pipes and the tall structures, but it’s where everything happens. We spend our days monitoring the machines and making sure the production lines don’t stop for no reason. There’s a lot of paperwork too, since it’s a big operation, but most of us are more concerned with what’s happening on the floor. The road outside is always busy with trucks coming in to load up or drop off supplies. It’s a hot, noisy environment most of the time, especially during the middle of the day. We don’t have a fancy visitor center; usually, if you’re here, you’re here to work or handle some business. It’s just an old-fashioned industrial site doing its part in Veraval.
