We are based out near Rajula City in the Amreli district, specifically in the Post Ucchaiya area. Working at Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd means being around a lot of heavy activity near the water. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where the action is. The environment is very different from a standard city office; it’s dusty, windy, and there is always the sound of heavy machinery in the distance. We have a lot of space out here, which is necessary for the scale of what happens at a port. Most of our staff are locals from the surrounding villages or people who have moved to Rajula for work. The daily routine involves a lot of coordination to make sure things are moving where they need to go. It isn't a quiet job, and the weather can be a bit harsh sometimes, but we are used to it. We don't really have a glossy front desk; it's more about utility and making sure people are safe while they work. The office buildings are practical, designed to withstand the coastal air. We spend our days tracking schedules and handling the logistics that come with this kind of location. It’s a massive operation, yet it feels like a small community since we all see each other every day in this somewhat isolated spot.
