Our permanent office is located in Shilana, which is a village in the Bagasara Taluka of Amreli district. It’s a rural area in Gujarat, so it’s quite different from the big city offices. We operate from a building at the post, which is where most of the local business happens. Working in the oil industry from a place like Shilana means we are very connected to the local farmers and residents. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or modern glass interiors. It’s a simple brick building with practical furniture. We spend a lot of our time managing local distribution and keeping track of the inventory. The pace is a bit more relaxed here, but the work is still important. We know everyone in the village, and they know us. Sometimes we have to travel to Amreli for meetings or supplies, but Shilana is where we are based. The roads around here can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage to keep things moving. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the oil gets where it needs to go and the paperwork stays in order. It’s a quiet, honest way to run a business. Our team is just a few local people who have been with us for a long time. It’s more of a community effort than anything else, really.
