Wafa Clinic

Wafa Clinic is situated in Akola, right near the Nagpur Shokaali Chowk. If you know Akola, you know the chowk is a busy spot with lots of traffic and people moving about. Our clinic is a modest place. It’s not one of those big medical centers you see in the movies. We just have a few rooms and a small area where people can wait. The paint is a bit old, and the floors are simple tile that we sweep every morning. Being near the Nagpur Shokaali Chowk means there’s always a bit of dust coming in from the road, no matter how much we clean. We have some fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving because it gets quite warm in this part of Akola. The clinic is just a local spot for people who live nearby. We don’t have a fancy reception desk, just a table where we keep the ledger. People walk in, say hello, and wait their turn. It’s a very casual atmosphere. Sometimes we sit and chat with the patients if it’s a slow morning. The street noise is always there in the background, which is just part of being in this location. Wafa Clinic has been here for a while, and we’re just part of the neighborhood. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just a small board with the name on it. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place for the local folks.
