Vyas Clinic

We are located at Ambedkar Chowk in Risod. The clinic is just called Vyas Clinic. It is a simple spot right in the middle of everything. Risod is not a huge town, so everyone eventually passes by the chowk at some point. The building we are in has seen better days, but it is sturdy and does the job. We have a couple of rooms for seeing people. The waiting area has some plastic chairs that have been there since the day we opened. They are not the most comfortable things, but people do not seem to mind much. We get a lot of dust from the road since the chowk is always busy with traffic. Someone is always sweeping the floor. We do not have any big mission statements or anything like that hanging on the walls. Mostly it is just calendars and some health posters. We open up early and usually stay until the last person has been taken care of. It is a local place for local people. Most of the time, we are just talking about the weather or the local news with the people who are waiting. It is more of a community thing than just a business. We do not have a fancy phone system, just a regular line that rings quite a bit. It is a bit noisy outside, but once you step inside, it is calmer. We just do our best to help whoever walks in.
