Vitthal Children Hospital And Dental Clinic

We are located in Karanja. It is a simple setup because we handle both kids and dental work in the same space. It can get pretty loud here. Children aren't always happy to be at a hospital, so there is usually some crying or running around in the waiting area. We try to keep some toys in the corner to keep them busy, but they usually end up scattered all over the floor by noon. The dental side is a bit quieter, but not much. Karanja is a small place, so we see a lot of the same faces over and over again. We know which kids are going to be brave and which ones will need a bit more time. The walls are painted a light color to try and make it feel less scary, though the paint is peeling a little near the ceiling. Our equipment is older but it works just fine for what we do. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from cleaning the floors to filing the papers. There isn't a lot of space for a breakroom, so we usually just eat our lunch at the front desk when things are slow. The windows look out onto the main street of Karanja, and we watch the tea stall across the way while we work. It is just a normal, busy local clinic with people coming and going all day long. We keep the kettle going for tea and wait for the evening rush.
