Our office is over in Samta Colony, specifically in the Viddhut Nagar area near the V.M.V. Post. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center, which we actually like. We’ve got desks squeezed into the rooms here and there are always stacks of brochures and folders piled up. Most of the time, the phones are ringing or someone is trying to fix the printer again. We spend a lot of our hours talking to people and trying to keep track of where everything is going. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use a coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time for that. There’s a small porch out front where we sometimes stand to get some air when the office feels too crowded. It’s a local operation and most of the staff live nearby, so we see the same faces every day. We don’t really do big meetings; usually, we just shout across the room if we need to ask something. It’s a bit disorganized at times, especially when a big shipment comes in and we have to find space for it in the back. But we manage to keep things moving along. Being near the post office is handy for us for daily mail. It’s a simple setup and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We just show up and handle the marketing work that needs doing.
