Our place, Stabplast Chemo Industerise Pvt Ltd, is located at the Tiwsa Gin area on College Road. We are right by the old cotton market, which is a place that has a lot of history in this town. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, especially during the seasons when the market is in full swing. We work with chemicals and plastics, which means our facility is more of a practical factory than a polished office. It’s got high ceilings and plenty of room for the machinery, but it definitely isn't fancy. The floors are concrete and there's always a bit of a smell from the production, but that’s just the nature of the work we do. We have a small team of local workers who have been with us for a long time. We aren't trying to be some giant global corporation. We just want to make sure our products are decent and that the orders go out when they are supposed to. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them ourselves. It can be frustrating, but it’s part of the job. The traffic on College Road can get backed up with trucks, so getting in and out takes some patience. We like being in this part of town because it feels real. No one here is trying to impress anyone. We just focus on the daily grind and getting things out the door.
