We’ve got these two shops, A55 and 56, over in the Cityland Complex in Borgaon Dharmale. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city centers, but we like the pace here. We do creation work, mostly garments and things like that. It’s just a couple of shops joined together to make one big room. We don't have a lot of storage space, so we have to be organized, though it doesn't always look like it to an outsider. There are hangers and fabric swatches all over the place on most days. We start early in the morning. The complex gets a bit busy on the weekends when people are off work, but during the week, it’s mostly just us and the other shop owners hanging around. We handle a lot of the work ourselves, from picking the materials to making sure the final product looks okay before it goes out. It’s a simple setup. No fancy computers or high-tech stuff, just the basics like scissors and needles that get the job done. Sometimes we have to stay late when a big order comes in and needs to be finished quickly. My cousin comes over to help out when things get really hectic. We don't do much marketing or advertising; we just rely on people walking by the shop or hearing about us from friends. It’s a steady life for us. We enjoy the work, even when the heat gets bad in the summer.
