If you head out toward Loni Takli, you’ll find us at Gat No 74, Survey No 24/3. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s actually quite nice for an arts school. You need a bit of space and quiet when you’re trying to create something. The grounds are pretty large, though we haven't paved everything, so it can get a bit muddy during the monsoon season. We started Shakthi School Of Arts because there wasn't much for the creative types in this part of Amravati. It’s mostly farmland around here. We have a few big halls where the students work on their projects. Sometimes you’ll walk in and see someone covered in clay or paint from head to toe. It’s a mess, but a good kind of mess. We don't have a big administrative staff, so usually, you’ll find the teachers themselves handling the gates or answering the phones. It’s a very hands-on place. The 444701 area is mostly quiet, which suits us just fine. People come here because they want to learn a craft, not because they want a fancy building. The walls are covered in student work, and we don't really bother with expensive decorations. We just let the art speak for itself. It’s a simple life out here in Loni Takli, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We spend more time worrying about the quality of the light than the quality of the office furniture.
