Saroj Kirana Store

You can find Saroj Kirana Store in the Omraj Patel Building, right on Amravati Road in the Wadi area. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and cars passing by all the time, so there’s always a bit of noise and movement outside. I’ve been running this place for a while and it’s mostly filled with groceries and household items that the local families need. I keep things like bags of grain, spices, and cleaning supplies on the shelves. The shop isn't very large, so I have to be organized about where I put everything so I can find it quickly when someone is in a hurry. Most of my customers live in the same building or the ones right next to it. They come in for their monthly supplies or just a small packet of biscuits for tea. I usually start my day by checking what’s running low and making a list for the supplier. Amravati Road can be quite dusty, so I spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and the counter. It’s a simple job but it keeps me busy from morning till night. I know most of the people who live in Wadi and we often have a quick chat while I’m calculating their bill. It’s a practical way to live, just providing what the neighborhood needs and being a familiar face in the building. I don't really have any big plans, just keeping the shop going every day.
