Rozelle

We've been running things at Rozelle for a good while now. You can find us over at Khatri Compound. It's not a fancy place, just where we do our daily work. Most days it's just a few of us trying to get through the orders. Sometimes the yard gets a bit cluttered, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We didn't really plan on being here forever, but Khatri Compound has become home. People ask what we do, and mostly we just say we work. It’s a local spot. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us hauling stuff or talking by the gate. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. It's just a practical space. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice. My cousin helps out when things get backed up. We try to keep things simple because life is complicated enough as it is. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s quiet in the mornings, which is nice for getting a head start. By noon, it usually picks up and gets a bit noisy. We like the routine of it all. Coming in, getting the lights on, and just starting the day's tasks. There’s no big secret to how we run Rozelle. We just show up at the compound and do what needs doing. It works for us and we hope to stay here for a bit longer.
