Prashant Printers

Prashant Printers is located on Wakil Line in Paratwada. It’s a street that stays pretty active with all kinds of small businesses. We’ve been working out of this space for a long time and the shop has its own character. There is always the sound of the machines running in the background and that specific smell of ink and fresh paper everywhere. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have stacks of paper and finished jobs waiting to be picked up by people. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment and make sure the colors come out right. Some days are really hectic when someone needs something done by the evening and we have to stay a bit late to finish it up. The light in the shop isn't the brightest but we know where everything is even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone walking in for the first time. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and fixing little mistakes before things go to print. Paratwada is a good place to be and being on Wakil Line means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We don't really do anything flashy. We just show up, turn on the presses, and get to work on whatever orders came in. It’s a steady life and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the printing cycle throughout the week. It’s just how things are here.
