Orient Cement

Our Amravati branch is over by Sai Nagar, specifically at Ramesh Wasani’s place. It's quite close to the Takhatmal School, so we see a lot of students and parents passing by every day. Orient Cement is what we keep in stock. The location is pretty convenient for people living on this side of town. It’s not a huge operation, just a steady one. We start the day fairly early, checking what arrived overnight. The school bells give us a sense of time throughout the day. It’s a friendly area. We often share a tea with the people next door. When it comes to the cement, we just make sure it's stored right and ready for whoever needs it. There’s no pressure or big sales pitches here. People know they need cement for their projects, and they know where we are. We keep things informal. Our records are mostly kept in notebooks, and we remember most of our regular customers. Sometimes the dust from the bags makes the office look a bit lived-in, but that’s fine. It’s a honest way to earn a living. Amravati gets quite hot, so we appreciate the shade when we can get it. We just keep moving forward, one bag at a time, making sure things get where they need to go. That's about all there is to it for us as we finish up the day.
