You can find Niraj Urban Coop Nidhi Limited over in Uttam Nagar, Amravati. We operate out of Panjabrao Gulabrao Dave’s place. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always something going on outside our door. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got a couple of computers that are a few years old and a printer that sometimes gets jammed. It’s just a regular workplace where we manage the local Nidhi accounts. People from all over Amravati come by to check on their savings or talk about their plans. We don't wear suits or anything like that; we just dress like everyone else in the neighborhood. The desks are usually covered in scratch pads and tea coasters. It gets a bit loud when the traffic picks up in the evening, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep things organized, but with so much paperwork, it can get a bit messy during the busy season. There is a small shop next door where we get our snacks. We know the regulars who come in every month, and we usually know their families too. It’s not a corporate bank; it’s just a local spot where people feel comfortable walking in. We spend most of our time double-checking the entries to make sure everything is right. It is a steady job and we like the people we work with every day.
