We set up Nagalkar Nursing Home And Polyclinic right here near the Sudarshan Building on Shankar Nagar Road in Amravati quite some time ago. It’s a busy spot in Sai Nagar and people usually find us easily because of the landmarks. Most days start early with the staff cleaning up the front area and checking the files for whoever is coming in that morning. We aren't a big fancy place with glass walls but we keep the rooms tidy and the equipment works like it should. Usually, someone is sitting on the bench outside waiting for their turn while the traffic on the road keeps moving by. It gets a bit noisy during the afternoons when the shops nearby are full of people. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors come through these doors for different things over the years. Some just stop by to ask a quick question about a prescription or to book a time for later in the week. The stairs can be a bit narrow and we try to keep the wait times down, but sometimes it just gets packed. We focus on getting through the daily list and making sure everyone gets seen before we close up for the night. There is always some paperwork to finish or a lightbulb that needs changing. It’s just how things go here in Amravati. We are just local people doing our jobs and trying to keep the clinic running smoothly for everyone in the area who needs us.
