Lic Of India. We are down at Nawathe Plot. It's really close to Santoshi Mata Mandir, so people usually find us pretty easily if they know the temple. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the paperwork done and talk to folks who walk in. Some days it gets crowded and we're just shuffling papers around and checking files. You can hear the sounds from the temple sometimes when it's quiet in here. Being near Nawathe Plot means there's always something going on outside the door. We've been at this spot for a while now. Most people around here know where we sit. It's a lot of sitting and talking, honestly. The desks are a bit old but they do the job just fine. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as the work is moving along. Usually, someone is making tea or talking about the weather while we wait for the next person to come through the door. It’s just how it goes day to day. We stay busy with the local crowd. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out. It's not a big corporate building, just a normal office in a normal neighborhood. We try to keep things simple and get home on time when the sun starts going down over the mandir.
