Larsen & Toubro (Ecc)

Our place is at Plot Number 2 in Rajshre Colony. It’s in the Dastur Nagar area of Amravati. It’s a decent neighborhood, mostly residential, so it’s not too hectic or loud during the day. We run the ECC operations from here. It’s basically a converted house or a small plot office. We have a small yard where we keep some bits of equipment sometimes. Inside, it’s just desks and chairs. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor or the furniture. It’s just a base of operations. Amravati gets quite hot in the summer, so we have the fans going all day. We know the people on the street. It’s that kind of place where you say hello to the neighbors. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the different sites across Maharashtra. There’s always someone coming in to drop off a report or pick up some plans for a new project. We keep things pretty informal. No suits or ties here. We just wear what’s practical for a construction site, mostly boots and rugged clothes. It’s a busy little spot, but we like it that way. We’ve been in this colony for a while now and it feels like home. We just do our bit and keep the projects moving forward. It’s honest work and we don’t make a big fuss about things. We show up, do the work, and go home. That's the way it is for us every day.
