Kesar Creations

Up on the first floor of J & D Mall, at Shop No. 42, that is where Kesar Creations sits. Shyam Square is usually buzzing with activity, especially on the weekends when people are out. Our shop is not the biggest one in the mall, but it has got enough room for what we do. It is tucked in a corner that stays a bit quieter than the main walkway where everyone walks. We spend most of our time behind the counter or back in the storage area. People wander in from Shyam Square just to look around and see what is new. We do not push anyone to buy things. If they like what they see, they usually say so. It is a lot of standing and talking to customers about what they are looking for. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait for the next person to walk through the door. Other days, we are running around trying to find the right sizes or colors in the back. Being in a mall means there is always air conditioning, which is a nice change from the street heat. But it can also feel a bit boxed in without windows. We have got Shop No. 42 set up the way we like it. It has a bit of a personal touch, maybe some old photos or a calendar on the wall. We are not some massive chain store. We are just local people running a shop in J & D Mall.
