Guruprasad Hospital

You can find Guruprasad Hospital out on Satargaon Road in Tiosa. It’s right there on the side of the road, so people passing through often see us. Tiosa is a small enough place where everyone kind of knows where everything is located. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus more on the patients than the decor. It's a practical setup. We have a few rooms for people to stay in if they need to. The road outside can get a bit noisy with the trucks going by to Satargaon. Sometimes the dust kicks up when it's dry out. We keep the doors closed to keep the inside manageable. There’s a small desk near the entrance where we handle the registration. It’s not a complicated system. We just write everything down in the ledgers. Most of the nurses are from the surrounding villages. They walk or take the bus in every morning. It’s a quiet life here for the most part, except for the busy market days. We just keep things moving one day at a time. It’s just us here on Satargaon Road, doing what needs to be done. We have a small bench outside for people who want some fresh air. The gate squeaks a bit when you open it but we will fix it eventually.
