Fazal General

Fazal General is located at Jaistambh Chowk in Karanja Lad. It’s a pretty central spot in the taluka. A good landmark to find us is the Sheetal Hotel, which is right nearby. Most people in town know where that is, so it’s easy to give directions to anyone new. We are a general store, so we carry a bit of everything that people might need for their daily lives. The shop is usually humming with activity because of the chowk traffic. There are always rickshaws and bikes parked outside. It can get a bit chaotic in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for their dinner. We don't have any big corporate mission; we just try to keep the shelves stocked with the things people ask for the most. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack extra boxes in the back. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep up with the customers as they come and go. The Sheetal Hotel brings in some travelers too, who stop by for snacks or basic supplies. We’ve been at this corner for a long time. The Jaistambh landmark is right there, so we see all the local events and processions that go through the center of town. It’s a basic, functional shop that serves the local people in Karanja Lad. That is pretty much it for us on a normal day in this town.
