City Neon Signs

We’ve been operating out of Walgaon Road for a long time. Our shop, City Neon Signs, is right in the middle of the Timber Market area at Chandni Chowk. It’s a busy part of Itwara Bazar, and being near the Central Bank of India makes it easy for folks to find us. The area always smells like fresh wood because of the timber yards nearby, which is a bit of a contrast to the smell of hot glass in our shop. We do a lot of neon work, which involves a lot of patience and a steady hand. The workshop isn’t huge, but we make the most of the space we have. There are always bits of wire and glass tubing sitting around on the workbenches. We usually start the day early before the bazar gets too crowded. Sometimes it feels like there isn’t enough light in the back of the shop, but once we turn on a sign, the whole place brightens up. We’ve worked with many of the shop owners around here over the years. It’s a tight-knit community in this part of town. We don’t have any fancy sales pitch or anything. We just take the orders, do the bending, and make sure the gas is filled correctly. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If you see a bright light near the bank, that’s probably just us testing something out.
