Our place is at A-22 in the M.I.D.C. Area. We do packaging. If you come by, you'll see a lot of brown boxes and rolls of tape and plastic. It is not the most exciting thing to look at, but everything needs a box eventually. We have these big machines that cut and fold the material. Sometimes they jam and we have to spend an hour clearing it out, which is frustrating but it's part of the job. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of paper or cardboard. We try to keep it clean, but it's a losing battle during the busy season. Brajesh Packaging is just a group of people working to get these orders out. We have a small office where the paperwork happens, but most of the action is on the floor. The trucks come in the morning to pick up the shipments. We talk to the drivers, have a quick smoke or a tea, and then get back to it. The MIDC area is always humming with activity. You can hear the other factories from our gate. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just take the orders, make the boxes, and try to make sure they are the right size. It's practical work for practical people. That is really all there is to it at A-22. We keep the machines running and the boxes moving out.
