Our place is located at No. E-2 in the MIDC area. It is just a standard industrial unit like all the others around here. We have been working out of this spot for a few years, mostly handling small-scale manufacturing jobs. The noise from the neighboring units is constant, so you get used to the sound of grinding and metal hitting metal. We don't have a big staff, just a few local guys who know how to run the equipment. Every morning starts with tea from the stall at the corner of the main road before we head into the unit. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of raw materials sitting around waiting to be used. We don't have a showroom or a glossy catalog to show people. Usually, someone just walks in through the main shutter and asks if we can make a part for them. We look at the drawings, tell them if we can do it, and give a rough time. It is a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back wall, but we moved the machines away from that spot. We stay pretty busy with the regular orders that come in from other companies in the MIDC. It’s just steady work that keeps us going day after day. We like being part of this industrial zone and the guys we work with.
