BHAGCHAND TEXTILE INSTITUTE PRIVATE LIMITED

Bhagchand Textile Institute Private Limited is situated in the G-Block of the Busyland Complex. This is out in Nandgaon Peth, which is part of the Amravati district. The complex is a large industrial area, and it feels very different from the crowded city markets. Here, everything is spread out and there is a lot of space. We call ourselves an institute because we focus on the more technical side of textiles, but it is a very hands-on place. The rooms are filled with machinery and workbenches rather than classrooms. We spend our days looking at weaves and teaching people how to handle the equipment properly. It is often very hot in Amravati, so the fans are always spinning at full speed in the complex. We aren't trying to be a big fancy school; we are just a practical place where people come to learn the trade and get work done. Our office is just a corner with a couple of chairs and a computer that sometimes gets a bit dusty from all the fabric fibers in the air. We don't have a big staff of professors, just people who know how to work the machines. We usually have our lunch together in the break area and talk about the day's production. It is a quiet, steady life here at the Busyland Complex, and we just focus on the task at hand.
