Ashok Naredi

Ashok Naredi works out of Shri Balaji Hospital, which is right at Choudhary Chowk in Amravati. We’re very close to the main market, so it’s always a lively place to be. You can hear the sounds of the vendors and the traffic all through the day. Being located near the market is convenient for our patients because they can finish their errands and then stop by for their appointments. The hospital has been a part of this chowk for years. It’s not a shiny new building with glass elevators, but it’s sturdy and it’s where we do our work. We see a lot of different people coming in, from farmers visiting the market to families living in the nearby streets. Our day starts early and often ends quite late depending on how many people need to be seen. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of social media pages. We just rely on being here and being consistent. The staff knows most of the regular patients by name, and we often chat about local news while waiting for things to move along. It feels like a community here at Choudhary Chowk. We try to keep the atmosphere inside the hospital as grounded as possible. Medical stuff can be stressful, so we just talk plainly and honestly with everyone. It’s a busy life, but serving the people of Amravati from this little corner near the market is what we do best.
