Our shop sits on Sutgirni Road in Sai Nagar. If you are heading towards Mahavir Nagar, you will probably see our sign. It is a simple place where we spend most of the day with scissors and combs in our hands. Amravati gets pretty hot in the summer, so people like coming in just to sit in the shade for a bit while they wait. We have the usual mirrors and chairs that you find in any local barber shop. It isn't a massive place, but it works for what we need. Most of our customers live right here in the neighborhood. They come in for a quick trim or a shave before going to work. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening on the street. Sometimes the shop gets busy on Sunday mornings because everyone wants to look clean for the week ahead. We keep the floor swept as much as we can, but hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. There is no fancy music playing, just the sound of the fan and maybe the radio. We have been at this location for a while. It’s just a honest way to make a living. You don't need a lot of bells and whistles to give a decent haircut. Just a steady hand and some regular customers who know where to find us on the road.
