We are located right at Gandhi Chowk, which is the heart of everything here. Aditya Scientific Arts is a name that people in the neighborhood recognize. Our shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit a lot into it. Being at the Chowk means there is always something going on outside our door—political rallies, festivals, or just the usual evening crowd. We have been at this spot for quite a while. The walls are lined with various items we have collected or worked on over the years. It is a bit of a mix of things. We don't have a formal business strategy or a big marketing budget. We just open the shutters every morning and see who comes in. The furniture is old and a bit shaky, but it serves the purpose. We often stand out front to talk to the other shop owners when things are quiet. The noise from the traffic at the intersection is something we don't even notice anymore. It is just a part of our day. Inside, there is a smell of paper and old materials. We don't have a fancy website or a corporate office. It is just us here at the Chowk, doing our work and being part of the local scene. Sometimes the rain comes in through the front door if the wind is blowing the right way, so we have to move the stock back. It is a simple place.
