We work out of the Ghaiomal Sons Building, which is an older place with a lot of history. Our office is where we manage all our trading business. It’s not a huge space, and it’s often filled with stacks of papers, shipping orders, and files that we haven't put away yet. We spend most of our time on the phone or writing emails to coordinate between different suppliers and buyers. It’s a lot of talking and making sure that everything is moving correctly across the borders. We don't have a warehouse here, so we don't have to worry about the physical goods, just the paperwork and the logistics. The building can be a bit quiet in the mornings, but by the afternoon, it’s a very busy place. We have a small kettle in the corner to make tea, which we do several times a day. We’ve been in this building for a long time and know the other people who have offices here. It’s a very straightforward business, and we don't use any fancy systems or corporate strategies. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built over the years. Some days the phone doesn't stop ringing and we are still at our desks long after we should have gone home. It’s not an easy job, but we are used to the pace of it. We just focus on getting the deals done and keeping the goods moving.
