Jagdishpur Gramin Nidhi Limited

We are Jagdishpur Gramin Nidhi Limited. Our office is located in Village Jagdishpur, specifically in the Jagdishpur Panch area of Block Jagdishpur. We operate out of Amit Kumar Sah’s place. It is very much a local, rural setup. We are not in some big city skyscraper. We are right here in the village where we can see what is happening in the community every day. We focus on being a Nidhi company, which means we help our members with savings and small loans within the group. It is a very traditional way of doing things. The office is simple, just some basic furniture and our ledgers. We spend a lot of time talking to the villagers and understanding what they need. There is no corporate polish here. We speak the same language as everyone else and we do not use confusing financial terms. People come by after they finish their work in the fields or at their shops. It is a relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes we sit outside if the weather is nice. We are not trying to grow into some massive corporation. We just want to serve the people in Jagdishpur and the surrounding block. It is important to have a place where people feel comfortable talking about their money. We have been here for the long haul and we plan to keep it that way. Just neighbors helping neighbors, really. That is the whole point of what we do at the village level.
