About Arya Vart Chawal Udyog – Food & Beverages in Amethi
Down here in Village Gohana, life moves at a different pace. Being in Ambedkar Nagar, we’re surrounded by fields, which makes sense for a rice business. The mill we have is an old building, and it has its quirks, like the roof that leaks just a tiny bit in the far corner when the monsoon hits hard. We mostly handle the local harvest. When it’s the right season, the place is packed with farmers from all around the village. It gets very busy then, and we’re working from dawn until well past dark. The rest of the year is a bit slower, just processing what we have and keeping the equipment clean. We employ a lot of the local guys who live nearby. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the rice is processed well so people in the area have what they need. Sometimes the machinery is stubborn and needs a bit of a kick to get going, but we manage. You can usually find us sitting outside on the bench during the afternoon break, having some tea and talking about the weather or the crops. It’s a simple village business. We don't use any fancy talk or have a big website. Most people just know where we are and come by when they have business to discuss.
