Vasavi Disposable Plastic & General Store is a shop we run in Ameerpet. The address is 8-3-573 in the Yellareddyguda area. This part of Hyderabad is always extremely crowded and busy. Our store is quite small, but we try to keep it stocked with all kinds of disposable items like plastic plates, cups, and spoons that people need for parties or their small food stalls. We also have a general store section with basic items for daily use. Because we are at 8-3-573, we get a lot of people walking by who just need to grab something quickly. The shop is often packed from floor to ceiling with boxes, and it can be hard to move around inside if there are more than two customers. It gets very hot in Yellareddyguda during the summer months, and since the shop is open to the street, we feel all the heat and the dust from the traffic. We don't use any fancy billing systems; we just know our stock and write things down in a book. We have been in this spot for quite a while and know most of the other shopkeepers around us. It is a lot of work to keep everything organized and to make sure we don't run out of things when it gets busy. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and serve whoever comes in.
