Monish International

Down at No. 54/ C Gandhi Road, right near the fire station in Krishnaouram, you'll find Monish International. It’s a modest spot. We've been here for a while, and the neighborhood knows us well enough. Being near the fire station means we hear the sirens every now and then, but you get used to it after a while. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and a window. Inside, though, we’re always keeping busy with one thing or another. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just a few of us handling the daily business and making sure everything is in order. Gandhi Road can get pretty crowded on market days, so we usually try to get our deliveries in early before the rush starts. We’ve had some regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know we don’t put on airs or act like we are bigger than we are. It’s just honest work. Sometimes the printer jams or the phone won't stop ringing, but that’s just a normal day at Monish International. We like the local feel of Krishnaouram. It’s got a good community vibe and we know the other owners around. We try to be helpful when we can. Nothing too fancy, just us doing our part and keeping things moving.
