Avr Traders is right by the Ambur Bus Stand, specifically at No.9/19 Janappa Street. Being that close to the bus stand means it is always loud and there are always people moving around. Our shop is a simple place. We deal with various trading items that come through. It's not a big fancy store with bright lights and air conditioning. It’s just a regular shop where we keep our stock and talk to our customers. Most people find us because they are already in the area for the buses. We have a lot of regulars who stop by just to see what’s new or to pick up something they need. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes you have to move a few boxes just to get to the back. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Janappa Street can be a bit of a mess when it rains, but we keep the door open anyway. We don't spend money on advertisements or fancy signs. The word of mouth from people around the bus stand is usually enough to keep us going. It’s a busy life, but we like the pace of it. We just focus on getting the orders filled and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a straightforward way to do business here in Ambur without any unnecessary fuss.
